Gardening in Egypt is a no-brainer! Where else on Earth can you find soil richer than in the Egyptian Nile Delta? Not content merely with the land surrounding our home and chicken farm, however, I've taken on another challenge: Rooftop Gardening!

Roofs are flat in this country, and houses are built of brick, steel and concrete. My favorite place on Earth is up on our roof, overlooking the gorgeous green countryside.
